ACS Group Acquires Pagani Brand To Expand Plastic Recycling Equipment Portfolio

The strategic acquisition enhances ACS Group’s recycling solutions by adding granulators and washing systems while strengthening its presence in Latin American markets.

ACS Group has acquired the assets of Dycomet SA de CV, a Mexico City-based manufacturer founded in 1966. The acquisition brings the Pagani brand — known for its granulators and washing systems serving the plastics and recycling industries — under ACS Group’s portfolio.

The strategic purchase strengthens New Berlin, WI–based ACS Group’s leadership position in the North American market while expanding its ability to deliver comprehensive, turnkey solutions for plastic recycling infrastructure.

“Pagani’s capabilities in granulators and plastics washing systems used in the recycling of PET, polyethylene, and polypropylene complement our product portfolio perfectly,” said Bob Andress, president of ACS Group. “With the addition of their wash line technology, we can now offer customers fully integrated systems that improve performance and reduce total cost of operations.”

Expanding offerings

The acquisition reinforces ACS Group’s commitment to delivering a broad range of size-reduction solutions tailored to meet evolving customer needs. By combining ACS Group’s existing expertise with Pagani’s innovative approach and local presence in Latin America, the partnership creates new opportunities for service and growth across the region.

Dycomet’s established presence in Mexico provides ACS Group with enhanced access to Latin American markets, where demand for plastic recycling equipment continues to grow. The integration allows both companies to leverage their combined technical expertise and manufacturing capabilities.

“We are excited to welcome Pagani to the ACS Group family,” Andress said. “Together, we are better positioned to serve our customers with a more complete offering and unmatched support.”

The acquisition reflects broader industry trends toward consolidation in the plastic recycling equipment sector, as manufacturers seek to offer more comprehensive solutions to meet increasing sustainability demands from end users.

Pagani designs and manufactures plastic recycling machines: Granulators, fines separators, blowers, cyclones, strand peletizers, densifiers, drum mixers, washing machines, and centrifuges. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. ACS Group plans to maintain Pagani’s operations in Mexico City while integrating the brand’s technology and manufacturing processes with its broader product lineup.
