Today, FirmaPak, a fast-expanding producer of blow-molded packaging solutions, announced its acquisition of Lighthouse Packaging, a blow molder and decorator of plastic packaging solutions located in Corona, California.
Lighthouse Packaging, established in 2015 by industry veteran Ernie Hernandez, who has three decades of experience, provides stock and custom packaging solutions along with in-house screen printing, primarily targeting the personal care market. With this acquisition, FirmaPak’s geographic footprint is expanded by incorporating a manufacturing facility on the West Coast, its offerings are enhanced with the addition of in-house decorating capabilities, and another skilled leader joins the company in the form of Hernandez.

FirmaPak owns prominent blow molders, Container Services and Apex Plastics, along with manufacturing facilities located in Kansas, Missouri, and Pennsylvania. Since its acquisition of Apex Plastics in January 2024, FirmaPak has completed two acquisitions.
All employees from Lighthouse will be retained following the acquisition, with Hernandez continuing as the leader of the company, now named Lighthouse Packaging, a FirmaPak Company. Before the end of the year, the expansion of the facility will be finished, and customers will not experience any disruption.
