Michelin Expands North India Retail Network with Two New Tyre & Service Centres

New Michelin Tyres & Services outlets in Amritsar and Panchkula strengthen the company’s premium retail presence and enhance customer access to advanced tyre solutions.

Michelin India has expanded its retail footprint in North India with the launch of two new Michelin Tyres & Services (MTS) centres in Amritsar, Punjab, and Panchkula, Haryana. The new outlets are part of the company’s strategy to strengthen its presence in high-growth automotive markets while providing customers with premium tyre products and professional vehicle maintenance services.

The Amritsar facility has been established in partnership with National Auto, while the Panchkula centre has been launched in collaboration with Universal Tyres. Each outlet spans approximately 5,000 square feet and is equipped to offer a comprehensive range of Michelin passenger car and two-wheeler tyres alongside advanced automotive service solutions.

Customers visiting the new MTS centres will have access to Michelin’s premium tyre portfolio, including the Primacy, Pilot Sport, Latitude Sport, and LTX Trail ranges. In addition to tyre sales, the facilities provide professional services such as wheel alignment, wheel balancing, tyre fitment, mechanical repairs, and routine vehicle maintenance, creating a one-stop destination for automotive care.

According to Shantanu Deshpande, Managing Director, Michelin India, North India continues to be a strategic growth market due to increasing vehicle ownership, improving road infrastructure, and rising demand for premium mobility solutions. He noted that the expansion supports Michelin’s objective of bringing globally benchmarked products and services closer to customers while preparing for the launch of its Made-in-India passenger car tyres.

Michelin selected Amritsar and Panchkula because of their expanding automotive markets, growing commercial activity, and strong demand for premium vehicle services. By partnering with established regional dealers, the company aims to deliver a consistent customer experience while strengthening its distribution and service network across northern India.

The latest expansion follows Michelin India’s ongoing investment in its retail network, with recent additions in cities including Pune, Mumbai, Noida, Bengaluru, and Kochi. The company currently operates an expanding network of Michelin Tyres & Services centres nationwide, reflecting its focus on improving customer accessibility and enhancing the premium tyre ownership experience.

With the addition of the Amritsar and Panchkula outlets, Michelin continues to reinforce its presence in India’s premium tyre segment. The expansion aligns with the company’s long-term growth strategy of combining high-performance tyre technology with comprehensive after-sales support, helping meet the evolving mobility needs of Indian consumers.
