Michelin India Accelerates Regional Growth with New Tyre Service Hub in Bikaner

Expansion into emerging markets reflects growing demand for premium mobility solutions beyond major cities

Michelin India has expanded its retail footprint in Rajasthan with the inauguration of a new Michelin Tyres & Services (MTS) outlet in Bikaner. The move forms part of the company’s strategy to enhance access to premium tyre products and professional automotive services in fast-growing non-metro markets across the country.

Developed in partnership with Bhagwati Tyres, the new facility is strategically located on Jaipur Road near Khatu Shyam Temple. The outlet has been designed to serve both passenger vehicle and two-wheeler customers, offering Michelin’s premium tyre portfolio alongside services such as wheel alignment, wheel balancing, and nitrogen inflation.

Spread across approximately 7,000 square feet, the centre has been established as a comprehensive mobility destination equipped with modern infrastructure and customer-focused facilities. The company believes that rising vehicle ownership and increasing awareness of road safety and performance-oriented products are driving demand for premium tyre solutions in cities such as Bikaner.

Michelin India stated that the expansion aligns with its broader growth strategy of strengthening its presence in emerging regional markets while bringing world-class products and services closer to consumers. The company is also preparing to expand the availability of passenger car tyres manufactured in India, reinforcing its commitment to the local market.

Bhagwati Tyres, Michelin’s local partner for the project, brings nearly two decades of experience in tyre retailing across Rajasthan. Through the collaboration, both companies aim to elevate the customer experience by offering advanced tyre technologies, reliable service support, and professional vehicle care under one roof.

Bikaner’s growing economy, improving infrastructure, and increasing adoption of premium vehicles have made it an attractive market for organised automotive retail. Industry observers note that demand for high-quality tyres and professional after-sales services is rising steadily as mobility needs evolve across smaller cities and regional hubs.

The latest launch marks another step in Michelin India’s ongoing efforts to expand its national retail network and strengthen customer engagement beyond metropolitan areas. By investing in strategically located service centres, the company aims to support changing mobility trends while delivering premium tyre solutions tailored to Indian road conditions and consumer expectations.
