German tyre manufacturer Continental has expanded its manufacturing operations at its Rayong facility in Thailand by adding motorcycle radial tyre production capabilities. The investment strengthens the company’s presence in the fast-growing two-wheeler tyre segment while enhancing its manufacturing footprint in Southeast Asia.
The expansion enables the Rayong plant to produce premium radial tyres for motorcycles, a category experiencing increasing demand across Asia and other global markets. By integrating motorcycle tyre production into the facility, Continental aims to improve supply chain efficiency, shorten delivery times, and better serve original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) as well as the replacement market.
