Pirelli Launches New Cinturato Gravel RH and RM Tyres for High-Performance Gravel Cycling

Italian tyre maker introduces high-performance gravel racing tyres designed for speed, control, and durability across diverse terrain

Pirelli has expanded its gravel cycling range with the launch of the new Cinturato Gravel RH and Cinturato Gravel RM tyres, reinforcing its commitment to the rapidly evolving gravel cycling segment. Developed to meet the growing demands of competitive and performance-oriented riders, the new tyres are engineered to deliver enhanced speed, grip, and reliability across a wide variety of riding conditions.

Manufactured entirely at Pirelli’s Milan-Bollate facility in Italy, both models are produced using FSC-certified natural rubber, reflecting the company’s focus on combining high-performance technology with sustainable manufacturing practices. The introduction of the RH and RM models completes Pirelli’s latest expansion of its premium gravel tyre lineup and further strengthens its presence in the performance cycling market.

The new tyres have been developed specifically for modern gravel riding, a discipline that continues to grow in popularity and has become increasingly competitive, technical, and speed-focused. The “R” designation identifies the tyres’ racing-oriented characteristics, while “H” and “M” indicate their intended terrain applications. The RH model is optimized for hard-packed and mixed surfaces where efficiency and rolling speed are critical, while the RM version is designed for mixed and more challenging terrain that demands greater traction and control.

Pirelli has incorporated technologies derived from its experience in motorsport and cross-country mountain biking to improve overall tyre performance. The tyres feature a 120 TPI casing and advanced construction designed to reduce rolling resistance while maintaining durability and puncture protection. The company says the new models offer a balance of speed, handling precision, and confidence across both dry and wet conditions.

The RH tyre features a smoother central tread pattern intended to maximize efficiency on compact terrain and paved sections while retaining side tread elements for cornering grip. The RM model incorporates a more aggressive tread pattern inspired by mountain bike racing applications, enabling improved traction on loose, rocky, and variable surfaces without compromising rolling performance.

The launch comes as gravel cycling continues to gain momentum globally, driving demand for specialized equipment capable of handling a broader range of riding conditions. By expanding the Cinturato family, Pirelli aims to provide riders with more tailored options that address specific terrain requirements while maintaining the performance standards expected by competitive cyclists and long-distance adventure riders alike.

With the introduction of the Cinturato Gravel RH and RM, Pirelli further strengthens its premium cycling portfolio and demonstrates its ongoing investment in product innovation, sustainability, and high-performance tyre technology for the growing gravel cycling community.
