Indian elastics manufacturer strengthens its global healthcare business by acquiring a 300,000-square-foot automated medical products manufacturing facility in Jacksonville, Texas.
Garware Fulflex has completed the acquisition of a 300,000-square-foot, fully automated medical products manufacturing facility in Jacksonville, Texas, significantly expanding its healthcare manufacturing footprint in North America. The acquisition marks a major milestone in the company’s strategy to build a globally integrated healthcare manufacturing platform and strengthen its presence in the world’s largest medical products market.
Situated on a 30-acre campus, the Jacksonville facility employs more than 250 people and manufactures a broad portfolio of critical medical products supplied to healthcare providers across North America and international markets. The site features advanced manufacturing capabilities, including injection moulding, blow moulding, thermoforming, extrusion, automated assembly, and quality assurance systems, enabling large-scale production of high-quality medical products.
The acquisition significantly enhances Garware Fulflex’s manufacturing capacity and strengthens its ability to serve global healthcare customers with advanced production technologies and improved supply chain resilience. By establishing a larger operational base in the United States, the company aims to provide faster customer support while expanding its range of medical manufacturing solutions.
Diya Garware Ibanez, Chairperson of Garware Fulflex, described the acquisition as a defining milestone in the company’s global growth journey. She said the Jacksonville facility brings world-class manufacturing capabilities, a highly skilled workforce, and a strategic presence in the US healthcare market, while reinforcing the company’s commitment to innovation, operational excellence, and long-term expansion.
The latest acquisition builds on Garware Fulflex’s ongoing expansion in the healthcare sector. In 2024, the company acquired Avcor Health Care Products, broadening its portfolio of compression bandages, tourniquet straps, IV support products, and other medical consumables. The new Texas facility further strengthens this strategy by adding significant manufacturing infrastructure and production capacity.
Garware Fulflex, traditionally known for manufacturing precision elastics and polymer-based products for healthcare, textiles, hygiene, sports, and industrial applications, has increasingly diversified into medical manufacturing. The expanded US footprint is expected to enhance collaboration with leading healthcare companies while improving responsiveness to customer demand across North America.
With the Jacksonville acquisition, Garware Fulflex continues to strengthen its position as a global healthcare manufacturing partner. The investment reflects the company’s long-term vision of expanding international operations, increasing production capabilities, and delivering innovative, high-quality medical products to healthcare markets worldwide.
