Trelleborg Opens New Manufacturing Facility in Central America

Trelleborg has opened a new manufacturing facility in Central America to expand production capacity, strengthen regional supply chains, and support global customers.

Trelleborg Group has opened a of its new manufacturing facility in Costa Rica’s Evolution Free Zone Industrial Park. This first Central American location strengthens our global supply chain and supports key customers with streamlined, nearshore production.

Linda Muroski, President of Trelleborg Medical Solutions, states: “We want to provide customers with finished medical devices, components and assemblies in one location. By producing the components at a single site and moving them to assembly under one roof, we reduce freight costs and management of multiple vendors for our customers, saving them money so they can be more competitive and profitable.

We are creating reliable solutions that empower our customers to deliver life-saving medical devices to patients all over the world.”

The new site features advanced molding, thermoplastic manufacturing, and assembly, meeting rigorous healthcare standards. Cleanroom production and strong quality assurance ensure dependable delivery for our medical device partners.
