The wider tubeless-ready tyres combine Pirelli’s SmartEVO AS compound with TechWALL+ protection for all-road, endurance and light-gravel cycling.
Pirelli has expanded its Cinturato EVO TLR bicycle tyre range with new 45mm, 50mm and 55mm sizes, extending the model further into all-road and light-gravel applications. The wider options join the existing range, which covers sizes from 28mm upward.
The Cinturato EVO TLR uses Pirelli’s SmartEVO AS compound, developed to balance grip, comfort and durability across different weather and road conditions. The formulation incorporates bio-based and recycled materials, while Pirelli says the tyre contains more than 50% such materials through its physical segregation approach.
The compound also incorporates FSC-certified natural rubber. Pirelli says the SmartEVO AS formulation is designed to provide grip on both wet and dry surfaces while improving vibration damping and durability, making the tyre suitable for riders covering varied road conditions throughout the year.
The Cinturato EVO TLR is built with TechWALL+ construction and a tubeless-ready design. The reinforced casing is intended to provide puncture protection while maintaining flexibility, while the larger tyre volumes allow riders to use lower pressures for additional comfort and grip on rougher surfaces.
With the latest expansion, the standard black version is offered in widths of 28mm, 30mm, 32mm, 35mm, 40mm, 45mm, 50mm and 55mm. Reported weights range from about 350 grams for the 28mm version to approximately 710 grams for the 55mm model.
The broader size range is intended to accommodate the growing use of wider tyres on modern endurance, all-road and gravel-oriented bicycles. The Cinturato EVO TLR retains a road-focused centre tread while using more pronounced shoulder features to provide additional grip on wet, uneven and mixed surfaces.
Pirelli positions the Cinturato EVO TLR as a versatile option rather than a dedicated racing tyre. Its combination of tubeless construction, puncture protection, larger air volume and all-season compound is aimed at riders covering everything from conventional roads and commuting routes to rougher pavement and light gravel.
The tyres are manufactured at Pirelli’s Milan-Bollate plant in Italy, where the company produces its advanced cycling tyre range. The expanded 45mm, 50mm and 55mm options further extend the Cinturato EVO TLR’s positioning as a road-to-gravel tyre for riders seeking greater versatility, comfort and durability from a single tyre platform.
