Innovative Silicone Tubing for increased application pressure in (bio-)pharma tubing

RAUMEDIC AG, a leading developer of custom polymer solutions for medical and pharmaceutical technology, has expanded its portfolio in the field of (bio-)pharmaceutical transfer tubing: With the new SILMOTION®-H series, the company now offers a pre-validated standard product for applications with increased operating pressure. The innovative tubing is made of Pharma Grade silicone and impresses with an increased Shore hardness of 80 Shore A.

SILMOTION®-H is a high-quality transfer tubing developed for the special requirements of biopharma fluid handling (PFH). With this new portfolio segment, RAUMEDIC AG relies on the usual advantages of the SILMOTION-T series and expands it with the possibility of use at increased operating pressures.

RAUMEDIC AG now offers the innovative tubing as a pre-validated, standardized product that meets the high requirements of (bio-)pharma tubing and is always quickly available.

In the new SILMOTION®-H series, the Bavarian polymer specialist relies on a highly pure silicone material with an excellent extractables profile. Despite the higher Shore hardness, the material has the decisive quality features of the popular SILMOTION®-T transfer tubing. For example, the new series impresses with its excellent biocompatibility, chemical inertness, temperature resistance, and durability. In addition, RAUMEDIC silicone tubing offers a variety of sterilization options.

This makes the new transfer tubing extremely versatile in the pharmaceutical production process and a real alternative to fabric-reinforced tubing for PFH.
