Falcon Plastics Expands Capabilities with Acquisition of Avid International’s Monterrey Facility

Falcon Plastics is proud to announce the acquisition of Avid International Molding Solutions’ manufacturing facility in Monterrey, Mexico, marking a significant milestone in Falcon’s ongoing growth and customer support strategy.

This expansion enhances Falcon’s ability to serve its customers across North America by adding 47 injection molding machines, a skilled and experienced technical team, and advanced assembly capabilities. The Monterrey facility brings deep engineering expertise, quality and metrology capabilities, and a strong reputation for precision and partnership, all of which align closely with Falcon’s commitment to innovation and operational excellence.

Falcon Plastics President Jenn Barlund shared,

Avid International’s Monterrey operation, brings a proven 20-year history of technical rigor, full contract manufacturing, and expertise in import/export logistics. These strengths complement Falcon’s existing capabilities in injection and blow molding and two-shot molding, supported by a 50-year legacy of innovation, financial strength, and a people-first culture.

The acquisition will allow Falcon to continue meeting customers’ evolving needs with greater flexibility, while maintaining the high standards of quality and reliability that have defined Falcon for five decades.
