Univar Solutions LLC Expands Distribution Agreement with SI Group Across EMEA
Univar Solutions B.V., a subsidiary of Univar Solutions LLC and a global provider of specialty ingredients and chemical solutions, has announced the expansion of its distribution agreement with SI Group. The collaboration will be managed through the Ingredients + Specialties division of Univar Solutions and will cover selected markets across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).
Under the expanded agreement, Univar Solutions will distribute SI Group’s portfolio of performance additives, including solutions for plastics and adhesives such as antioxidants, stabilizers, UV light stabilizers, and impact modifiers.
Matthew Oliver, Global Senior Vice President of Performance Materials at Univar Solutions, said the partnership continues to evolve as both companies work to expand access to advanced additive technologies in the region. According to Oliver, the expansion will help customers improve processing efficiency, thermal stability, product durability, and overall product lifespan. It also aligns with Univar Solutions’ strategy of offering a broader range of specialty solutions for manufacturers in the polymer, plastics, and additives sectors.
The strengthened collaboration reflects both companies’ commitment to delivering innovative and sustainable specialty solutions for the plastics and rubber industries. By combining SI Group’s additive technologies with Univar Solutions’ extensive distribution network and technical expertise, customers will gain streamlined access to materials designed to enhance product performance, efficiency, and environmental responsibility.
Paul Tilley, Senior Vice President of Sales and Business Development at SI Group, highlighted that the collaboration with Univar Solutions’ Ingredients + Specialties team will focus on providing high-performance rubber and plastics solutions to customers in Türkiye, along with advanced plastics solutions in the Iberian region. He added that the agreement supports the development and commercialization of specialty products in growing markets through a trusted partnership.
Univar Solutions also supports customers through its global network of Solution Centers, including its regional flagship facility in Essen, Germany. These centers provide technical expertise, formulation development, and supply chain support, helping customers accelerate product innovation while meeting evolving performance standards and regulatory requirements.
