Dover Corporation has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Cloeren Incorporated, a leading manufacturer of extrusion T-dies and feedblocks used in polymer processing. Following the completion of the transaction, Cloeren will become part of MAAG, Dover’s polymer processing business within its Pumps & Process Solutions segment, further strengthening the company’s position in advanced extrusion technologies.
Founded in 1975 and headquartered in Orange, Texas, Cloeren is widely recognized for its expertise in designing and manufacturing high-performance T-dies, feedblocks, and coextrusion equipment. Its technologies are used to produce plastic films, sheets, coatings, cast films, extrusion coatings, and specialty multilayer polymer products for industries including packaging, automotive, medical, construction, and industrial manufacturing.
The acquisition significantly expands MAAG’s product portfolio by adding complementary extrusion technologies to its existing range of pumps, pelletizing systems, filtration equipment, pulverizers, and recycling solutions. Together, the combined business will offer polymer processors a broader portfolio of equipment covering multiple stages of the plastics manufacturing process.
According to Dover, the integration will create opportunities for greater innovation, improved customer support, and enhanced process efficiency for manufacturers producing multilayer films, sheets, and other high-performance plastic products. The combined expertise is expected to strengthen MAAG’s ability to deliver complete processing solutions for both virgin and recycled polymer applications.
